MS. TEEN, BINIBINING CALOOCAN CROWNED

Caloocan City Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri recently led the successful coronation night of Ms. Teen and Binibining Caloocan 2012, which was held as part of the celebrations of the city’s 50th foundation anniversary this coming Thursday (February 16).

Also gracing the event aside from Echiverri were Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas President, Councilor Ricojudge “RJ” Echiverri, Madam Puri Echiverri, city councilors, barangay officials, department heads and city hall employees.

Crowned as Ms. Teen Caloocan was Sheila Mae Morales of Barangay 147, while 1st runner-up honors went to Claudine Cordova of Barangay 87. Named as 2nd runner-up was Divine Kyu Ezrha of Barangay 174 while Nikolai Mae Catajan of Barangay 187 was named 3rd runner-up..

The title of Binibining Caloocan 2012 went to Kathleen Tanlimco of Barangay 171, while 1st runner-up honors went to Kristian Aubrey Nolasco of Barangay 184. Named as 2nd runner-up and 3rd runner-up, respectively, were Kristi Celyn Banks of Barangay 164 and Dale Ivory Lee of Barangay 132.

Local residents also witnessed the fun and glamorous coronation night of Ms. Teen and Binibining Caloocan 2012, which took place at Glorietta Park, Tala last Saturday night (February 11).

According to Mayor Echiverri, the local government annually crowns a Binibining Caloocan who will serve as the city’s representative in special occasions or in various projects.

Meanwhile, Mayor Recom thanked everyone who helped make the event a success, particularly the local barangay officials and parents of the young women that were very supportive of the contest.
