MOTORCADE HIGHLIGHTS CALOOCAN’S GOLDEN FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY

Caloocan City Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri led a colorful motorcade around the city in order to further highlight the upcoming 50th foundation anniversary of Caloocan.
The motorcade was kicked off at 2:00 p.m. along EDSA, Caloocan (in front of Max’s Restaurant) where local officials, city hall employees, members of non-government organizations and different sectors gathered before making rounds around the city.
Next, the motorcade on Sunday afternoon made rounds in Caloocan North. It began along Quirino Highway in front of Guadanoville Subdivision.
According to Echiverri, the purpose of the motorcade was to jack up the anticipation among residents in regards to the upcoming golden foundation anniversary of Caloocan City on February 16.
It also presented an opportunity to invite local residents to watch the different programs being organized in line with the celebration. These include the Kasalang Bayan, Family Day, Miss Caloocan, Miss Teen Caloocan and Gawad Recom.
Aside from these programs, the mayor said that projects offering public service will also be carried out. Among these are the Recom Caravan, Mobile Passporting, etc.
Meanwhile, Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas President, Councilor Ricojudge “RJ” Echiverri enjoined local barangay officials to throw their full support behind the activities celebrating the golden foundation anniversary of Caloocan City.
