RJ ECHIVERRI RE-ELECTED AS LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY NATIONAL PRESIDENT

Caloocan City Councilor RICOJUDGE ECHIVERRI was re-elected as LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY sa Pilipinas president during the elections last Friday at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

For the second time, Echiverri dominated the race for the position by garnering 108 votes, compared to his rival who only managed to get a measly four votes.

Among the others elected for high positions are Ramon Jolo Revilla, III, executive vice-president; Atty. Edmund Abesamis, Vice-President-Luzon; Paolo Duterte, Vice-President-Mindanao; Jeneda Salcedo, Vice-President-Visayas; Atty. Vicente Pagurayan, Secretary General and Arsenio Kho, Jr., National Auditor.

REGION 1

Also victorious were Amadeo Espino, Regional President ng Region 1; Jessie Galano, Regional Vice-President; Guillermo Vallejos, Regional Treasurer; Mario Subagan, Regional Auditor.

REGION 2 - 3

The winners from Region 2 include Maurice Navarro, Regional President; Napoleon Hernandez, Regional Vice-President; Conrado Ocampo, Regional Treasurer and Rogelio Salun-at; Regional Auditor. For Region 3, the winners were John Patrick Agustin, Regional President; Jose Carandang, Regional Vice-President; Raul Sarmiento, Regional Treasurer and Mark Cholo Violago, Regional Auditor.

REGION 4 - 5

Meanwhile, the victor from Region 4-A are Floro Esguerra; Herminigildo Dolor; John San Jose; Marvin Villasener; Region 4-B – Ramon Sabala, Gerry Tansiongco, Romeo Bacay; Region 5 – Domingo Briones; Nelson Marana, Gregorio Angeles; Joseph Phillip Lee and Alex Nero.

REGION 6 - 8

As for Region 6, the winners were George Gitano; Roberto Divinagracia and Edina Tatoy Gelito; Region 7 – Michael Ralota; Leo Mercado; Henry Suan; Crispina Vergara at Arnulfo Teves, Jr.; Region 8 – Atty. Reyzadro Unay; Leo Insigne; Mark Paul Gonzales and Carlo La Torre.

REGION 9 - 12

Region 9 – Marjorie Jalosjos; Rico Amigo and Benhur Tandih; Region 10 – Bernard Pacana; Donetilo Asenas, Jr.; Marvin Ramos and Aurora Virginia Almonte; Region 11 – Laureno Taya and Boyet Hernan; Region 12 – Lourdes Casabuena; George Perett and Ronnie Escleto.

According to Echiverri, his administration will continue to prod the national government in giving to the barangay officials all over the country their due rights and privileges.
